Taekwondo is an ancient Korean martial art that promotes courtesy, respect, integrity and self-control in a healthy mind and body.
Translated literally as ‘Foot-Fist-Art’, taekwondo dates back to 2333 BC, and is now not only a training disclipline that provides fitness with meaning but also an Olympic sport.
Hall’s Taekwondo has been an integral part of the development of taekwondo in Australia. Our Managing Director and 8th Dan Grandmaster Martin Hall was Australia’s first Olympic Taekwondo Coach, and four Hall’s students were selected in the eight-strong Sydney 2000 Olympics team. Hall’s very own Lauren Burns won the first ever Taekwondo Olympic Gold Medal in Sydney.
We have five full-time, modern fitness centres across Melbourne, and a range of courses and programs to suit children and adults of all ages and abilities.
